]]>
A Roation Link will appear when pictures have been uploaded into Onware, allowing Onware users to rotate the pictures as necessary.
Identified Issue: When pictures are uploaded from Safari, using a MAC, iPhone or iPad, the pictures are rotated.
Identified Issue: Sub-Consultants were unable to access this report.
Identified Issue: Using Drag and Drop, in Google Chrome, to add an attachment. The attachment appeared to upload into Onware multiple times.
Identified Issue: Using IE9, Onware users were unable to uplaod multiple files at once.
Identified Issue: When the “save as new” option is used, the original meeting number was lost and updated to the current meeting.
Identified Issue: If the General Contractor role was added in the Project rather than in Preferences, the General Contractor was unable to create new Submittals.
Identified Issue: If a saved report does not include a Contract Administrator/Project In Charge, the email generated an error.
]]>
Identified Issue: If Change is attempted to be “Issued for Change Order” without the attached Quotations being closed, the incorrect error appeared.
As Submittals are now utilizing Alerts, we have updated the disclaimer and removed the “Area of Inactivity” column. If a Project appears in the In-Active Project Report, the project has had no alert activity within the last 6 months.
Identified Issue: When “Save As New” is utilized, new/additional text was entered into both the existing and new task.
]]>Onware has introduced the ability for a Prime Consultant to enter a Quotation on behalf of a Contractor – without the need to Impersonate!
Anywhere the Quotation process is used (Change and Change Directive), a button will display “Enter on behalf of Contractor”.
When this feature is used, Onware will provide a person selector field to select which General Contractor the Quotation is being entered on behalf of. The person selector field must be completed before the Quotation can be issued.
Onware records in its audit whom initiated the Quotation (the Prime Consultant) and which General Contractor was selected.
Once the Quotation has been issued, the Prime Consultant will be re-directed to the Change or Change Directive, allowing them to proceed with requesting Quotation Recommendations or Close the Quotation.

]]>When an Onware account is created, the person is automatically added to the “Member” Group Access.
It was identified that a “Lot number” field was missing from the Location area of the Project.
Based on feedback, we have enhanced the Active Items report to include filters for disciplines (for RFI’s), divisions (for Submittals) and a person filter – allowing specification of which Contract Administrator or Partner In Charge to generate the report for.
A “Copy Change” feature is available from the Change Search/Browse page’s “Select an Action” drop down list. A Change can be copied at any status. Once copied, the new Change will have the “initiated” status and will only include any attachments (uploads) to the Change (no linked documents).
In order to identify where the request for a Change originates from, we have included a “Requested by” field. This field will display on the standard form.
An Additional status “Not Accepted/Invalid” has been added to UCR’s, to allow further clarification.
Based on user feedback, we have included the Change Order status in the Associated Changes table of the Progress Claim.
Identified Issue: It was noted the RFI “return to issuer” status, which is no longer used, was displaying as an option for E-mail Subscriptions.
Identified Issue: The ability to Edit a Project by Number was confusing for our customers, as they attempted to use it as a search mechanism. Onware decided to remove this functionality.
Identified Issue: Meeting attendee status was lost when a new contact was entered.
Identified Issue: Tasks carried over from previous meeting show all assigned people as “not on project”.
Identified Issue: Submittal count displaying incorrectly.
Identified Issue: Login ID does not save when selecting “Save”, must use “Reset Password” button. Adjusted so Login ID will save using the “Save” button.
Identified Issue: Progress Claim’s distribution list was displaying Supplemental Instruction distribution list.
Identified Issue: Uploading attachment difficulties when using IE10 in maximum view.
]]>As upload functionality is a significant component of Onware, our internal testing incorporated testing Onware’s usability and functionality in older versions of the Browsers that we support – Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome.
Onware’s Minimum Requirements have been updated to reflect our testing. As of version 7.14, Onware now supports:
Of the above, IE 8 and 9 are the least desirable due to it’s limited support for HTML 5. As Onware continues to add or ehance functionality, taking advantage of HTML 5, these may not be available for those people accessing Onware using IE 8 or IE 9. The Onware software will continue to operate in IE 8 and 9, however the experience will be limited.

The below steps will help you to determine which version of Internet Browser you are using.
If a Change Directive is not associated with a Change, you can now “Issue for Pricing” – requesting pricing from the General Contractor!
The original Change Directive workflow has been supplemented with the Quotation workflow. In other words, the Change Directive Owner Approval workflow will work in parallel with Change Directive’s using Onware’s Quotation workflow.
A priced Change Directive can now be associated with a Change Order – just like a Change!

]]>The Transmittal form has been updated to display the “Action Taken” field on the form.
The Quotation form has been updated to display the “Reason for Re-quote” as well as links to any Quotation Recommendations, if present.
Identified Issue: Standard report generated error when loading.
Identified Issue: Manipulate Items tool generated error when loading.
Identified Issue: The “Select an Action” drop down option of “Copy” generated an error when attempting to copy the required Site Visit.
]]>Original Contract and Previous Changes now have “Update to Current Value” buttons next available. Selecting the button(s) will overwrite the amounts entered or displaying with the current values calculated automatically by Onware.
Identified Issue: RFI Standard report may display inaccurate response time calculations due to some RFI’s not having dates entered.
Identified Issue: When a General Contractor accesses a “Returned to Initiator” RFI, the General Contractor should have two options: (1) Close the RFI; (2) Ask a New Question. It was identified that the General Contractor also had the ability to issue a response, which did not follow the Onware RFI Workflow accurately.
Identified Issue: Date of Issue displaying on the Standard form was retrieved from the Period End date entered. Date of Issue should be retrieved from the Date of Certificate entered.
Identified Issue: Submittal Standard report can generate an error when Submittals do not have a priority entered.
Identified Issue: During the 7.11 upgrade, Onware converted any initiated Submittals which did not have a Division set to an “unknown” number, to ensure they were not lost during the upgrade. After the upgrade, the “unknown” Submittals were unable to be deleted.
]]>Change, Change Directive, Progress Claim, RFI and Quotation standard forms have been re-written into our standardized platform, incorporating all fields which can be entered in the document edit to display on the printed form.
We have also updated the Transmittal form to include the phone number for the “To” and “CC” people.
If a Transmittal is cancelled, it will now display in strikethrough (ABCD) so it can be identified as no longer applicable.
We have added the ability to cancel an e-mail, within the E-mail Log, from sending.
We are now displaying the Contract number in the Standard Report, making it easier to differentiate between Contracts.
Identified Issue: Standard report does not generate results when the status is set to [All] or [Not Closed]
Identified Issue: When “Working on behalf of” was used to generate and issue a Progress Claim, this was not identified in the CSV or the printed form template (view/pdf)
Identified Issue: If there are no changes associated with the Change Order, the Revised Contract amount, automatically populated by Onware, does not display
Identified Issue: Selecting PDF from the Browse/Search pages would not open the PDF for 30 seconds upward
