New Functionality

Alerts

Want to know which alerts are new?  Onware now displays new alerts differently!

New Alerts will be display as Bolded and include an asterisk *.  Once the Alert has been selected, the Bold and asterics no longer display.

Settings

Submittal – Default Required by Duration

Projects typically have a turn around time specified in the Contract.  If this setting is enabled, the Submittal Required by Date will automatically populate with the required by date, based on the current date + number of days set in the setting.

E.g. Setting set to 14, Submittal initiated October 1, the required by date would automatically populate as “October 15”.

RFI – Default Required by Duration

Cover Letter

We have added a reset search criteria button to the Cover Letter.  The reset search criteria button will be phased into each Browse/Search page in Onware.

File List

Ability to view the File List in thumbnail or list view.  The view will be remembered the next time you access the File List.  Viewing in list view improves performance of the page loading as the visual thumbnail pictures do not need to load.

Progress Claims

The General Contractor can now enter the dollar value of the Claim in their submission.

Site Visits

We have updated the descriptions of the Rich Text Editor boxes to be more consistent with the Standard printed form.

Description is now labelled Progress, and Items are now labelled as Observations.

PDF Reports

PDF Buttons have been added to the Active Items and Performance Reports, to allow you to PDF this report in real time!

Uploading Attachments

We have switched the uploading capability throughout Onware – improving performance and speed at which uploads occur.

Identified Issue: General Contractor did not receive an alert to Acknowledge the Letter.

Identified Issue: Onware Administrators were unable to edit and adjust the default document disclaimers.

File List

Identified Issue: If access is limited on a File, initiator’s access is removed unless explicitly assigned access to the File.

Identified Issue: When requesting re-quote, the reason for re-quote was not a mandatory field.
